Riparian and Stream Ecosystem CEU Workshop

November 8, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

 

Come join us for a FREE 1-day training about riparian and stream ecosystems and how healthy riparian zones provide direct benefits.  This training program will be co-hosted by the Texas Waters Resource Institute (TWRI), AgriLife Extension (Washington County Office), and the Mill Creek Watershed Partnership.

 

Program runs from 8am-4pm and includes indoor and outdoor presentations. FREE catered lunch provided

The TWRI website states, “The riparian education programs will cover an introduction to riparian principles, watershed processes, basic hydrology, erosion/deposition principles, and riparian vegetation, as well as potential causes of degradation and possible resulting impairment(s), and available local resources including technical assistance and tools that can be employed to prevent and/or resolve degradation. ”
