Water Well Owners Educational Event

WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR WELL?
Mill Creek Watershed Partnership and Austin and Washington County Extension Offices are pleased to host:
FREE Texas Well Owner Network (TWON) program
WELL WATER SAMPLE TESTING WILL BE PROVIDED*
Drew Gholson, Program Specialist with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be holding a 6-hour workshop for private well owners. This educational training program will cover groundwater resources, septic system maintenance, well maintenance, water quality, and water treatment.
*Well owners may bring samples to the training for testing of nitrate-nitrogen, total-dissolved solids (TDS), and E. coli bacteria. Screening cost $10/sample and samples MUST be brought in approved sample containers. Sample containers and instructions are available for pick up at the Washington and Austin County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offices.

When: Friday, April 28, 2017 • 8:30am-3:30pm
