Do you own land in the Mill Creek Watershed? Come together and make a difference by cleaning up your land and let us handle waste disposal!

Please register by calling 979-321-5921 or by emailing millcreek@tamu.edu. Not sure if you’re in the watershed? Explore this MAP and find your address – if you’re in the blue shaded area, you’re in the watershed!

Pick up supplies (trash bags and gloves) at the Austin County Extension Office (800 E Wendt St, Bellville, TX 774180) or the Washington County Extension Office (1305 E Blue Bell Rd Ste 104
Brenham, TX 77833) between October 28 and November 8.

Gather family and friends to clean up the watershed! Picking up litter anywhere in the watershed contributes to cleaner water, but be we encourage you to target sections of the creek that are on your property.

Come by the Bleiblerville VFD on November 9 to drop off collected items. We can accept common litter like plastic, glass, wood, and cardboard. Below is a list of items we CANNOT accept at this time.

Freon-containing equipment
Mercury
Lead
Batteries
Flammable, toxic, or hazardous materials (liquid fuel, pesticides, cleaning supplies, propane tanks, paint, oil)
