2022 Mill Creek Cleanup Day

2022 Mill Creek Cleanup Day is almost here!

Mill Creek watershed residents are invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Mill Creek Cleanup Day by cleaning up their properties and bringing the collected items to a centralized trash drop-off spot located at the Bleiblerville VFD parking lot (3912 FM 2502 Rd., Bleiblerville). Trash will be accepted on Saturday, August 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We will not be able to accept trash from those residing outside the Mill Creek watershed. Therefore, pre-registration and verification of eligibility are required prior to participating in the Cleanup Day. You do not have to have Mill Creek run through your property to qualify for participation.

The Day of the Event

Please bring the proof of residence (your driver’s license or utility bill) with you at the trash drop off spot the day of the event.

We cannot accept the following items:

  • hazardous waste (oil, gas, paint, pesticides and herbicides, hazardous liquids)
  • batteries
  • asbestos
  • closed drums
  • freon-containing refrigeration equipment
  • items containing mercury, lead, or acid
  • tires

Please do not bring and leave any trash after 4 p.m. when the dumpsters are no longer there.
